Get out of debt
Most people think that to get out of debt, they need to make more money. But that is not necessarily the truth. For some people, making more money could get them deeper into debt. Unless they are totally commited to getting out of debt, making more money many not help them.
For those that are sincerely committed to to getting out of debt, making more money (and of course, charting a course of action) will get them out of debt in a short time. (See John Cummuta’s program)
How to get out of debt
But if you for some reason cannot increase your income, these are some points that we consider extremely important when handling debt:
1- Develop a budget. We cannot stress this hard enough. You DO need to know exactly what your monthly expenses are.
2- Cut off (or, at least, cut down) any and all trivial expenses. Avoid eating out, cut down your cable TV bill, do not buy stuff you don’t really need. Please take this very seriously.
3- Pay your bills on time. Some credit cards will charge you between $30 and $50 as a “late payment fee”. This is money you could be using to pay down your bills. (imagine this: 5 times in a year that you pay your bills late, and it could mean over $200 in late fees!)
4- Get (and study) the Transforming Debt into Wealth program, by John Cummuta. We believe it’s the most effective way to pay off your debts very quickly. If you are serious about getting out of debt, this is the fastest way. One day you will look back and thank yourself for taking action today.
6- Get a second job or, better yet, start a part-time online business.
7- Change your mindset. Convince yourself that you deserve more. Read positive books, surround yourself with positive people, and avoid negative people like the plague!. Read The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace Wattles.
8- Form a mastermind group. Get together with other people who are also committed to getting out of debt, meet with them once a week and share ideas that can benefit the rest of the group. Make sure you socialize AFTER the meeting is over, dedicate one full hour to exchanging ideas and sharing success stories. This will motive you like nothing else, provided you choose the right people.
And above all, never, ever give up. Don’t get discouraged, it’s not easy but you can get out of debt, if you stick to your plan.
We hope you found the information in this site very valuable. We have put a lot of effort in designing this site, and we hope that it will benefit as many people as possible.
